Hello Eveyone,

I know it has been awhile since my last update, kind of got lost. Forgot how to sign in, but with Jayme's help again, she figured it out and here I am.

I have the dayoff so a very long weekend for me.

I have been really busy with work what with my banks new merger with Wachovia it has been alittle crazy.

I don't have the pictures or the like of that my daughters have right now, still learning the processed. so my updates will be in writing for the moment.

Nothing really new to report that has not probably been mentioned before. Brent tested (practiced) in his Baby Grand on August 21st (first time shifting and using a clutch) and again on August 28th. Past and was able to race on August 29th. He looked really good, (love to see him doing what he love to do drive and compete). He is growing up to be quite the young man. Still working out the bugs in the car (Dad is working really hard), still looking for sponsors. He still has a great traveling fan base (Grandma Kathy, Grandpa Jerry, Palpa, Papa Gary, Nana here in California and most importantly his brother Brandon who looks up to Brent with so much love and admiration. Racing this year has been pretty quiet with the economy staying pretty close to home.

Brandon got a new cat (Shelby) papa thinks she is a cute cat and that is saying alot.

On the other hand I love getting messages and phonecalls from Tennessee and hearing how well my granddaughters are doing (hint, hint).

Haven't check me e-mails lately , but looking forward to receiving a picture of the horse Ashley rides (hoping to do something special). The girls seem to be really busy with home schooling and all their extra activities.

Well guess thats the best I can do right now, (boring right?) I get better I promise.

Take care and love to all,

Hello Everyone,

Well it's Thursday evening and Gary has left for the weekend. He is spending time at his sister's retirement home in Coarsegold (20 minutes south of Yosemite). Papa took Brent with him for company.

As for our trip yesterday to the city. We took Bart into San Francisco and then an F bus to the Wharf. We purchased combo tickets for a Bay cruise and the San Francisco Aquarium. It was nice to be out on the bay and see the sites. It was very nice to cruise by Alcatraz Island. It especially nice to listen to all the recorded commentary the tour offered. Then we walked up the Wharf to the Raintree Cafe for lunch/Dinner (my first trip). Caught an F bus back to the Bart station for our trip home. I think everyone was ready to get home.

All in all I really think everyone had a great time.

I will post again, stay tuned.

Love to all,

Well Good Morning Everyone,

Today is the 3rd day of my vacation.
Just a quick update on what I have been doing so far this week. On Monday Julie, Brent, Brandon, Desiree (Brent's Girlfriend), Kevin (another little race car driver and Brandon's friend) and I went to Discovery Kingdom for the day. For the most part I think we had a great day. Brandon isn't to keen on the big rides yet, so we did a lot of sitting and waiting for the others to ride. Saw a few shows and ate lunch.
Tuesday was a quite uneventful day at home catching up on some laundry etc. so to free up the rest of the week.
Today Julie, Brent, Brandon, Grandma Kathy and I are going to ride Bart (our form of rapid transit) into San Francisco for the day. We had planned on going to Great America (another amusement park) but the boys thought better since Brandon wouldn't enjoy it so much because of the ride factor.

Well since this is my real first time at posting, I am going to sign off for now and get myself ready for the day.

We will be going to Pier 39 and the Raintree Forest Cafe for lunch. Should be a lot cooler today.

Stay tune for more updates, still have so much to learn about blogging.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Love to all,

P.S.
